OPEN THE DOOR TO EASY ACCESS MANAGEMENT
AND CONTROL WHILE IMPROVING YOUR BOTTOM LINE

Property managers of tenant buildings, commercial buildings, or dynamic campus's such as universities all face a complex set of challenges issuing keys or proximity cards to individuals for both private and common areas. The transfer, misplacement or loss of keys and cards can be a significant inconvenience but more importantly has a negative impact on your operational costs.

Buildings equipped with the iLoch™ system afford individual tenants all the security and convenience benefits of homeowners. Property managers, however, are liberated from the responsibility of physically managing a large number of keys and access cards for the building.

  • Property Managers retain "central control". Property managers can easily assign unique access permissions appropriate to tenants or staff. Hours of access to recreational facilities can be defined; levels of access can be created to restrict access to certain areas (e.g. offices or mechanical rooms), and "master key" access to individual tenant units can be retained. Where appropriate, buildings can have instant "emergency lockdown" configurations in the case of security incidents.

  • Freely transfer access management to tenants. Tenants manage their own access. Administering key deposits, replacing keys or cards, and arranging temporary keys for visitors are completely eliminated. Tenants are able to provide flexible, secure, temporary access to their guests or visitors. There is no need to produce extra keys and no need to have to retrieve keys afterwards.

  • Be informed of routine or critical access events. Property managers are provided with up-to-date information about premises access activity (e.g. peak usage times of common areas) and may be instantly alerted to critical access events such as attempts at unauthorized access.

  • Eliminate need to separately manage multiple keys for common areas and individual units. Since access parameters are defined centrally, there is no need for multiple keys or codes and no need to protect a set of "master keys".

  • Eliminate cost and administration associated with tenant turnover. Access privileges from former tenants are simply disabled. There is no need to retrieve keys or assume the cost of replacing locks to maintain security integrity.

  • Differentiate your building with your own unique services. Beyond basic security, the iLoch™ system introduces a spectrum of possibilities due its extensible architecture and programmability. For instance, you could integrate a "reservation system" for your recreational facilities that enables access only to the appropriate tenant; proximity detectors for handicapped individuals could more conveniently open doors as they approach; apartment parking facilities could be converted to "public parking" during the day, assigning consenting tenants' spaces in their absence. It really is up to your own imagination.

While tenants will no doubt be impressed with state-of-the-art security and the conveniences afforded them, property managers ultimately improve their operations by eliminating unnecessary costs. Please contact us if you would like a specific analysis of how the iLoch™ system can improve your own property management services and operations.
